Her Whisper Is The Lucifer

SHINee recently made their comeback with their 2nd full album, Lucifer. SHINee are a contemporary band so I thought it would be interesting to see their concepts. I think the one that strikes me the most is Key's new concept. With his head partially shaved he looks as if he has a bald patch when it's actually just bleached white blonde. Jonghyun's look never changes much and he fits this new concept well even if he looks somewhat like a hedgehog. Minho is the other member who has had a big change for this comeback, cutting all his beautifully long hair off so that he resembles Micky Yoochun more and from some angles Shim Changmin. Taemin seems to have taken over Minho's role of having long hair but I think it works well. He no longer looks like the baby of the group like he used to, especially when they first debuted in 2008.

Onew has certainly taken a change but not nearly as drastic as Key or Minho. He opted for the eyeliner look which I think suits him pretty well although, his haircut leave a fair bit to be desired.

Taemin rocks it out in a sleeveless leather jacket with his long hair, giving off a much differe

nt vibe than what he usually does. There is no sign of the cute Maknae (Youngest member) that we usually see, instead he is full of confidence and shows his fans a whole new side. Much different to when he was younger and the whole of SHINee cross dressed for a sketch in a variety show.

This is the style that I think suits Jonghyun the best. He quite often goes for the punkish look when on variety shows and he pulls it off well. For their new concept Jonghyun pulls off an oddly cut leather jacket. Whilst it is pretty normal in the front the back is a whole other matter with the coat stopping before it reaches the middle of his back.

As a contemporary band SHINee goes for concepts that have not yet been attempted by other boy bands and I think I can safely say that no other male idol has ever made such a drastic change
